I teach all styles of music and work with many young beginners to well established performing artists of all ages. I welcome all beginners, my aim is to build confidence in a student and teach how to get the very best from their voice. Lessons are taught to professional backing tracks and this ensures a full one to one teaching method.
I am very happy to work with singers/songwriters who want to work on their own material.
Performing Arts Students.

Preperation for auditions, choosing the right song, how to combat nerves. Everything you need to know to help you to have a successful experience.
Studio.
Lessons are provided in a fully equiped music studio. Microphone, and recording facilities. Mirrors to help your performance technique.
Beginners - Children and Adults
I welcome adult beginners of all ages. Have you always wanted to learn to sing, but just not had the courage to make that step? Its a fun way to spend an hour and to gain confidence.
I take children from the age of 7 upwards and offer after school places.
First Lesson.
The first lesson enables me to assess your abilities. I will hear you sing a prepared song of your choice, and we will then discuss your goals, and build a plan for your lessons. It is not an audition and you will not be judged on your abilities, it is just to guide me in planning a suitable training for you.
A lesson will begin with a vocal warm up, and I will be concentrating on breathing technique and diction. I offer microphone technique to students wishing to gain confidence in performing in this area, and performance technique with the use of mirrors in my studio.
Recording.
Once you are confident with a song you have studied, you are welcome to record your voice and put it on to a cd to take home at no extra charge.
What to bring.
Please bring with you a memory stick or blank recordable CD.
Lyrics printed on an A4 sheet of paper or sheet music.
